Fred’s love for hospitality began over 25 years ago as a front desk agent in Southern California where his journey began caring for internal and external guests. Working for International brands including Starwood and Marriott, with leadership roles including General Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing, has given Fred a unique and vast knowledge of the industry.
During his career, he has executed pre-opening programs and built successful operations and sales teams while exceeding targeted earnings. He is known as a passionate hospitality innovator who specializes in creating service-oriented initiatives and an expert in building relationships. While at the Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel, Fred achieved the coveted “Marriott Opening Hotel of the Year” and “North America Sheraton of the Year”, while becoming a major competitor within the San Gabriel Valley.
A certified Sheraton Brand Culture Trainer, he is no stranger to cultivating a strong and welcoming work environment. He has led several team-building programs within the company and his personal life.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. Fred Kokash is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
